It’s March 4 in Cheraw, SC(just Google it, I can’t explain). Me and Daender are planning on volunteering this year, which is the first for me, but not for him. I think I will be attempting to Roadkill limp the SlowRunner 150 miles each way to attend.

Does anybody else want to go?

While on the one hand it sounds cool, don’t be that asshole that doesn’t show up in time for a volunteering job.

Yes to roadkill. Maybe meh to roadkill with responsibilities?

The only thing I’m worried about is an electrical gremlin that doesn’t affect it’s driveability, only startability. Also, the thermostat housing leaks a bit, I think it’s a gasket. I’m sure it will make it, but I haven’t driven it more than 50 miles at a time in around 2 years.

I limped my explorer from Alice TX to Roswell GA, about 1100 miles, in one day on 5 cylinders, 150 miles shouldn’t be bad.

I know it will make it, how long it takes is the question. I could get lucky and it start every time I need it to, or I could fight the battery cables for 20 minutes.
